Can I fit a single bed...

... in my Mini (disassembled!!!) if I have the roof down???? Its a cabriolet. Need to buy a secondhand single bed which of course involves picking it up from the seller. Thinking it might fit headboard/foot end in front of back seats and long side pieces sticking out the top, has anyone ever done this successfully?!?

You might have a problem if you are going too far as the base will protrude about 3 or 4 foot above the waistline of the car.

If you have he newer convertible with the pop up roll hoops you might be able to lay it over those and over the hood stack but you would have to make sure it is well lashed down.

Transporting a tumble drier is much easier !!!

Ah, I was thinking it was a divan, if it is a frame that's different.

If it is what I am thinking then no problem, if it's two side pieces just over 6 foot long then they can go I the front passenger footwell, lay the passenger seat down and lay them over the rear seats.

That s what I did with 4 meter lengths of drainpipe.
