This is a sad commentary on the litigous (sp?) nature of our society that BMW had to spend $$ on some legal team to include this kind of language in order to prevent lawsuits.
That is $$ that could have been better spent getting us 200hp.

the only thing sad here is BMW having to put that in a manual The commentary is ment to make fun of the overly lawsuit oriented world we live in, I'd rather see 200 bhp in my MCS as well

although that would make my insurance and taxes too high

I've seen other funny remarks in manuals, but this still beats it by far
