Need mini body shop referral for dfw or la

My new Mini just got slammed by a nasty hail storm that left a dent in the roof and some minor hail dents on the hood and door. They want to PDR it here but I don't trust they can get the roof damage out with PDR. Need a good referral for Mini body repair in either DFW or LA area.

Has to be done by someone who knows how to tackle the headliner and not f-up the airbags, sunroof etc.

Whose "they". I assume you have insurance comprehensive insurance. If so the they is your insurance company. I've had PDR do work on several of my cars in the past and they can do incredible things. I would give PDR a chance. If the guy can't do it he will probably be the first one to tell you. Even if he does it and doesn't do it right your insurance company will have a body shop do the necessary repair work. It's a shame to let a body shop bang, bend, bondo and repaint something when it possibly can be done faster, cheaper and better.

Don't ever go to a body shop because they happen to be the dealership that handles a particular brand of car. The fact they're a dealership has nothing to do with how good of a job they do. If you have any high end dealers in your area (R.R., Ferrari, etc.) there's a good chance they don't have a body shop because of the small volume of cars they deal in. That doesn't change the fact they still have occasional need to have body work done and they will know the best shop in town. Ask them who they use. Don't be surprised if it's some little shop off a back alley somewhere. It's the man doing the job and not the shop.

Referral in dallas ft worth los angeles

Thanks wap. I know all of that. That's why I asked for a body shop referral from other Mini owners. The Mini has challenges unique to a Mini. PDR is effective with all of the dents but one. They - referring to 6 shops I had estimate were only 50% sure the roof will be fix with PDR.

I know someone here in the UK had their car written off because of hail stone dents and we dont have football sized ones like you have there.
