Caravanning with a Clubman

Due to the onset of middle age, I'm quite found on becoming a shed dragger. Trouble is, what can my 2010 Clubman D tow.
Was anyone had experience of towing a van with their Clubman??

Max weight for your Clubman D is 750kg braked so I dont think its a viable plan, maybe a trailer tent would be a better option??

Jim.

You could use one of those 2 bed things like Ade in Britain on the tv tows behind his Countryman, they look a bit like a snail and are very snug inside?
Its not a proper caravan but it has cooking facilities and a bed.

I'm happy to see teardrops suggested as by an odd series of events, I became the resident designer to an American teardrop forum, so if you fancy building one for yourself, there are plans on my teardrop website.

But 750kg braked will just about get you into the bottom of the 'proper' van market with a (Polish-built) Freedom Microlite.

Yes thats them, a teardrop, much better description, ok for a quick overnight stay and a bed I would think if youre pushed, towed into it I mean.

2012 Mini Clubman Cowley Caravan
"The eye- catching trailer is only 12 centimeters (under five inches) wider than a MINI Clubman mirror to mirror and weighs just under 300 kilograms (661 lb). Indeed, with its outstanding agility and fleetness of foot, thereís no danger of the hallmark MINI driving fun being left behind over long journeys."
