Tyre Warning Light Problem

Yesterday my wife noticed a red warning light on the dash, it turned out to be the tyre pressure (or loss of it) and we found that the rear offside tyre of the Clubman had a slow puncture. A trip to the local tyre repair shop fixed that but the warning light remained on. The mechanic said it needs to reset and would go off afer a few miles.

However after some 70 miles the light is still on. Can anyone suggest a reason? Thanks!

I'm only newbie but 2 things I would try first is make sure all the tyre pressure is the same and press the reset button, worked for my Mini Cooper light went off after 50 yards

Youve not reset it properly I would think? unless they had over inflated your repaired one?
The system works on wheel speed/revs so ideally they all need to be going round at the same speed so be the same diameter.
