Return Steering Pump Hose

My Steering pump hose the one from the Steering pump back to the reservoir is leaking.
I have found a number of sellers in the US but as I live in Australia with Right hand Drive can anyone tell be if the US part will fit.
I am assuming the Steering Rack will be different between left and right hand drive models so my concern is the hose will be different as well

thanks in advance
Charlie

This is your feed hose to the pump, the hose from the rack to the reservoir is the return hose.

You can get replacement hoses from masterparts.com.au , speak to James and he will arrange to ship overnight if your in a hurry.

As your going to need new PSP fluid, if you cant get hold of CHF 11s you can use LDAS from Penrite.

LDAS Fluid can be used where the following OEM part numbers are specified
•BMW 81.22.9.407.758 or BMW 82.11.1.468.041
•Fendt X902.011.622
•Fiat 9.55550
•Porsche 000.043.203.33
•Holden/Opel Part Number 1940715 GR.4.581 or 1#93160548
•Rolls Royce RR 5000
•All systems that specify the use of Pentosin CHF 11S/202
•Total DA/LDA
•MB 345.0 fluids

Masterparts has the hose, $80.00 you will also need two new hose clamps from either Masterparts or Bunnings

The hose is:

Power Steering Hose - Fluid Container to Power Steering Pump

Suitable for R50 Cooper, R53 Cooper S and R52

This is a genuine MINI part

Part number 32416754498

I would say the hose is the same for right or left hand vehicles as the pump and reservoir are in the same location on either vehicles.

Have you checked its actually the hose and not loose hose clamps ?

The majority of hoses available from the USA on Ebay will cost you about the same as buying locally here in Australia once you include postage and will take to the end of May before it gets delivered.

They are also quoting the same part number as here in Australia.

Its easier to get it locally and faster, you can get it shipped overnight by express post or within 3 days by normal mail !

Thanks Milpol Part no 32416754498 is the Intake manifold pipe what I need is the Return Pipe part 32416781745. I rang Trivett Mini and they wanted $236.71 for the pipe plus delivery. The reason I asked if we could use US suppliers was I seen them on Ebay for $75.
I will give Masterparts a call and find out the price.
