| Door Unlocking Indication Has anyone had any problems with the door unlocking function, when i click the fob for unlocking the side lights used to indicate that the door was unlocked and now it doesn't. Is there an easy remedy as my dealer usually takes the car for 2 days for any problem. Any Thoughts??? Many Thanks..  |

| When I picked up my car, the dealer explained that the indicator lights only flash when you lock the car. He said they specifically don't flash when unlocking as a security feature, as (apparently) it draws attention to an unlocked car and it's owner approaching it with the keys, making it an easy target for thieves to grab the keys and drive off (eg. in a quiet car park). Instead the interior lights fade on when the car is unlocked, which I actually think is quite cool! Very special 'chillied' red and white Cooper, 17" alloys, and a very proud owner  Born on 3 January 2003. |

| Yes, goonermini is right, the indicator lights only flash once when locking the car. And when unlocking, the interior lights fade on... same when the car is turned off. |
