Better Forum?

not that I don't plan to use this forum still but is there an even more active or even better forum that other mini owners use?

That's an awkward question that I doubt any one on this forum wants to respond to. Let Google be your friend.

NorthAmericanMotoring is the most active MINI forum for US owners.

Where a number forums and car clubs exist for the same car its always difficult to say which is better than the other, some will offer different things to the point you say should I join them all?
Well yes I suppose to get the best of all worlds you need to, but it works out expensive if membership of each club is involved.

Its a great pity all cant get together all under one roof to offer one fantastic forum or club, but it wont happen.
Another club often starts up because a long standing member of the other has had a fall out and decided to start their own up.

Take for instance something like the Ford owners clubs, theres up to around 5 that cater for one model, ridiculous, and each one thinks they offer the best.

The original club, the first to start up normally offers the best in terms of info and knowledge, but often its up to you to decide, do I join all at whatever expense or pick one and risk missing out on things, its a difficult one.

I was hoping to find people loyal to Mini, not a particular forum. Sorry if I offended.

SurreyNewMini forum is much friendlier and people actually answer questions. That's novel!

But it hasn't many members.

Try it and see for yourself. Surrey New MINI

I bet the reason for that is in its name Surrey, folk think they have to live in Surrey to be a member thats why?
And if you join and dont live in that area you are disadvantaged.

Note if you post a link to anything on total-mini.com it won't work on Mini2
The forum automatically re-directs or alters the spelling.....

For the USA, North American Motoring is the big forum and Motoring Alliance is a smaller one (containing many of the members of NAM who objected when it was taken over).
