Question Q for US Mini owners

I am planning on using the Blitzsafe adapter to plug my iPod into the Mini's CD input. My question is on the CD changer prep. I was tooling around on the UK Mini site to get a different camera angle from their configurator, and they list a no cost option of putting in the CD changer wiring prep.

There is no such option on the US configurator. Is it standard to have that wiring in there?

-Rob

Why do Minis and Macs end up in the same household so often?

As far as I know yes. But as always check with your dealer to be sure, they can always be changing things, but US spec's automatically have had it since day 1.

Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.

just put my blitzsafe cd/aux adapter in my cooper s built in december 2002. Wiring is right there in the rear panel. Just undo the masking tape holding it to the harness and you're good to go!!! Sounds great too!

Let me know how it goes. I'd like to do that too sometime in the future.
I just use the ear buds and am pretty happy really.

ear buds? Am I confused, or do you actually put them in your ear when you're driving?

The blitzsafe btw works great, I've had mine for several months now. Do a search for it, I'm sure you'll get lots of reviews.
