don't know if anyone read the Sunday Times yesterday but there was a letter in there referring to a MINI owner who complained the previous week about other MINI people not waving.
It was from a Fiat Multipla driver who said that it was because a MINI is an ordinary car! AND he said that Multipla drivers always wave to each other .
Underneath it was another letter from another Multipla driver who said the same thing - seems like MINI owners aren't the only ones who are supposed to acknowledge each other!
Pulled up to a light next to a new Chili Red/White "S" this morning. I tried to waive, but the lady driving it seemed to be unaware of anything to either side of her car. On the other hand, there is a nice classic MINI wagon in the area that I have seen a few times, he always has a smile and waive.
I wave and flash lights.
Best thing you can do, is just keep doing it. The people that dont understand will catch on. Its a must with this kind of car. We area a family.
Heck someties I wave to my own mother on the road, and she doesn't see me.
Just keep on waving!
