Crank seal and sump gasket?

Hi guys

I have a mini cooper R56 (non s) that has covered 39,000 miles. Recently it went into mini for an oil service and they sent me a video but the forum won't allow me to post it. If the video is needed for you to see the oil leak then you'll have to ask.

The video shows that my car has an oil leak from the Crank Seal and the Sump Gasket. I allowed them to carry out the work on my car, but from them doing this my engine in my car moves around a bit and is also very noisy when the engine is running but the car is not moving.

When I picked the car up from mini it was stalling and cutting out on the mechanic that was taking it for a test drive to check that everything was working on the car. He could not even take the car out of the forecourt at mini as the car wouldn't move more that 1m without stalling. The guy on the service desk said that they would keep the car for another day and find out the problem with the car. So I drove back home in there loan car.
The next day i received a phone call from mini telling me that my car is ready to collect, so again i drove another 50 miles to the mini garage to pick my car up, when i started it up it was rather noisy and had a loud ticking sound coming from the drivers side of the engine bay. They said this was normal but took the back around to the garage to check.

A little later my car appeared still making the same sound and they said it was fine, so i took the car home. Since then this noise has got a little louder so I took it to another mini garage for them to listen to the engine running. The mechanic at the other mini garage listened to my engine running and he seem to think there was something wrong with the engine but would not want to work on the car as another mini garage has caused the problem.

I then took the car to a BMW and Mini specialist (BM Tech), the mechanic I saw there said that he thought the engine was running very lumpy and did not understand why the car's engine was moving and vibrating.

The car is also booked back in to the first mini Garage but when I have spoken to them over the phone about the problem, they said this is normal but the car wasn't like this when i dropped it off to them for just and oil service.

Does anybody know what parts Mini would have to take off to carry out the Crank Seal and Sump Gasket replacement?
