Hole Passenger side footwell-New Cooper D 1.5

Hi, All

Just got home from picking up my brand new cooper D, waited for it for a few months due to the delay re engine noise, anyway got her home, and I noticed this hole, see picture, is there a trim missing, dealer does not know, he is making a call Monday, but if anyone can post a picture of what should be there, be most grateful, thanks in advance

There isn't any trim piece showing in the parts diagram, but the hole does appear on both sides:

What does yours look like on the driver's side?

The only thing in that area is accessory LED illuminated sill plates that maybe plug in to the wiring harness at that hole - but then you'd think there would be a blanking plug (or an extension of the plain plastic sill plates) that would cover the hole.
