England Smoke from turbo

Hi,
I have a mini cooper d R56, its a 57 plate, I have notice exhaust smell coming it the car so I popped the bonnet and notice black around the turbo, when I rev the car exhaust gases come out of the left side of the turbo, if your looking at the front of the vehcale. any ideas or does it mean a new turbo.

Hi there buddy,

It could be the seal of your oil feed line to your turbo. these are known to fail.

It's a tricky job but can be a DIY one if you are fairly competent.

Searching google will come up with loads of answers too

I can't post external links as I don't have enough posts! just google 'oil feed line R56 turbo'
