Now, im unsure what this exactly consists of, does this mean i get the servicing for free!? As the 1st oil change is due in 800miles...i know i can take it to my local mini dealer, but what i get with the tlc pack i dont know! Any help appreciated... |

Offline | Hi Kooper24, i also purchased my cooper secondhand. It is going for the first service in about 2 weeks. When speaking to the service advisor, he said to bring in my tlc vouchers and the service record book. I believe that it covers all parts and labour, but not things like tyres, brake pads and wiper blades. Hope this helps. Djc. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | TLC provides the parts and labour cost for the following: 1) Oil Service ~10000 miles 2) Inspection I service ~25000 miles 3) Oil Service ~40000 miles 4) Brake fluid replacement after ~2years. TLC says it offers cover up to 5 yrs/50000 but that's not quite true as it's unlikely anyone would get up to 50000 miles for the three services and it doesn't provide a second brake fluid change which would be required at 4 years. Having said that £100 for what you get is still fantastic value for money and another thing that attracted me to the MINI. Red/Black R56 Cooper |

Offline | tlc pack :I had to pay for my first oil service on my original Cooper because I had lost my TLC pack due to me having the JCW con done to it. It cost me £63.00. Although I wrote a letter MINI UK complaining at the time about losing the TLC as I considered, even though I'd had at the time a non approved conversion done, BMW and JC garages had obviously collaborated in the development of the car. This in my mind gave the conversion some credibility. To cut the story short I received a polite letter from Mini UK + a cheque returning my original £100 for the TLC pack. So I suppose the first service cost me nothimg as I had already paid up front for the TLC and did not expect to get a refund Now proud owner of CR/W Cooper S 17" white S spoke and most of the toys : ![]() |
