Offline | MINI Dropping TLC? Visited dealer today and salesman mentioned he heard a whisper that BMW were dropping the TLC package after March as this was only really intended as an introductory sales incentive. Anyone know any more about this or is this sales patter? morrisminiminor |

Offline | I've not heard anything. Trevor Houghton-Berry had told me they planned to keep it going for good, even though it was supposed to be an 'incentive' at first. Be a shame if they dropped it, although it could help a little when selling a second hand MINI with it still on. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Offline | More I'm sure I've read that BMW are offering a similar thing on 7 Series and possibly free servicing on new 5 So I can't see them going backwards ? Unless the intend to offer it free. Which would be nice !! |

Offline | Paulpdt, I'd be surprised if MINI dropped the TLC. I think if they did dealers might find it harder to refuse point blank dicussing a discount. At present the TLC is the discount on the car...or at least thats how I conditioned myself to paying list!! I appreciate that demand will also play a part in whether discounts will be available. I also agree that its strange with BMW pushing out up front service plans on their models (the 3 series diesel not petrol being one)that they'd ditch TLC. Regards Christopher |

Offline | We don't have TLC in Australia. The two year, 30,000km warranty with roadside assistance is standard but a three year unlimited km warranty with roadside assistance and servicing costs an extra $AU1800 (approx $US900).
