 Number Plate Opinion Needed! Its my 21st bday soon and I want to buy a plate for my MINI, just want some opinin on the following: Oh Yeah my name is Alex M West, 1) A18 XMW rearranged to say A18X MW, 2) W8 STS rearranged to say W8STS I would really appreciate your opinion on this MINIALEX Cometh the Hour, Cometh the MINI  |

| If those are the only two choices, than go for the first one, sounds better. But why not get MINIALEX? |

| I don't think number plates work the same in Canada as in the UK. You cannot have what you want, it has to be available and a possible combination. So MINIALEX is not a possibility.  Alex I would go for the second one if I was you. That is, if they cost the same. The second one is definitely a private plate and with a cleverly placed screw hole it could look like WESTS. Hopefully the police won't be too over keen to give fines in your area. However, they can fine up to £1000 if you change the fonts or misrepresent the letters. |

| And if you don't accept the number plate you are given when you first register a new car, you have to pay for one you like. Starting price £250 plus £80 assignment fee. The UK is cr** and strict about number plates.  |

| Alex, Happy Birthday, soon. We have just had our plate done. People know us as:- Jan & Steev Beech. Our plate:- J8 SBE - not bad for £250.00 all-in from DVLA plus £12.50 for plates (completed in five days). For you I found A13X WE, A18X WE, or I think the best W1 21 EST. But whatever you choose, a MINI needs it's own plate! Good luck. Steev |

 number plates Happy birthday! I personally think that A13X WE is the best one for yourself. I have just got AE03DAY for my new mini (Andrea Elizabeth DAY) and I think it is really going to be worth it. good luck with the choosing!
