England Wind deflectors

Good morning.

Is anybody able to give me some advice please.

I recently broke my wind deflector for my 2013 Cooper D

I am looking to buy a second hand one and i am unsure whether there are specific sizes for specific years or whether a wind deflector made for any of the Mini's made post 2006 will fit.

And of course if anybody has one going cheap and lives in the South East and it will fit my car i would be interested in negotiating a price.

Hope someone can assist.

Jo xxx

Anything 2009-onwards would be a 2nd generation Convertible like yours - the 1st generation Convertible remained in production well after the 2nd generation hatch was introduced. Changeover was mid 2008, I believe.

I've read that the wind deflectors of either generation fit the other, but I've not confirmed that in person. Certainly any 2009-on deflector will fit.

They do come up for sale on their own occasionally but my dealer was pretty insistent that if the deflector was part of the original car's order, I had to include it when trading in.

I think you may have to stump up the 180 to buy a new one from a dealer. You should get at least 20 off that if you ask.

What has broke on it? With a bit of ingenuity you never know you may be able to fix it.
