This morning in my newspaper.

The following I found this morning in my newspaper. Sorry, there wasnīt any picture. I hope my translation isnīt to bad. I have to admit the usage of an dictionary.

Locked Up

A further chapter from „The dumbest criminals on earth“ was written yesterday by two Iserlohner bums: After they had an accident with a stolen car, they were looking for a new vehicle. The english Mini was short-circuited succesfully. But then they mixed up the reverse gear with the first gear. The consequence: Along with the car they hit a big hole, left by an uprooted tree.

What do you think, New Mini or a classic one? As I havenīt driven a classic one, I donīt know how the gears are managed in it.
If it was a New Mini they were real dumb.

Probably a classic Mini, since they were able to hot start it. I don't think that can be done in our new MINIs. God, I hope not.

Your English, it's a not so bad.

Would have to be classic. New MINI has coded keys, and an immobilizer making it nearly impossible for a dumb thief to hot wire.
