Red Cooper new feature

i just found out yesterday morning that the wing mirrors swivel on their stalks. i never knew that before.



ps doesn't this car have a great big horn?!

They do indeed.

Even cooler though is that in Japan (and maybe other markets) they automatically fold! Now that's a nice touch.

And you can fold them mirror down when you wash the car so they drain.

For those of us who live and park on cramped city streets and lanes, the folding mirrors are crucial! If the electric-fold option had been available I'd DEFINITELY have gone for it!

A very useful feature. As Paul mentioned the automatic folding mirrors are a standard feature on cars supplied to Japan. As I've previously posted it would be a good new option for the MINI.

Do you think this option can be retrofitted? I would deffinitely get it for the right price. Is it another toggle switch or does it do it automatically when you park?

Might be a rather expensive retrofit but an interesting idea particularly for anyone who dares to park their MINI on the road.
