Offline | We've had some snow up in Cheshire and looking out of my window over onto the hills of the Peak District there is lots of snow there. Mini MINI remains safely housed in a garage....it was snowed on in my office car park and looked for want of a better word very pretty! Regards Christopher |

Offline | Mini S at the Ice Gymkhana in Colorado I attached a copy of my Mini S at the Ice Gymkhana in Georgetown, Colorado. The Mini did very well indeed once I figured out the the DSC MUST be off (zero power) and that the drive by wire throttle seems to kill the engine when both brake and throttle are applied. The hand brake used judiciously worked very well to swing the Mini around, which was a three step procedure when performing a 360 degree turn around one of the final cones. I was running the Green Diamond tires from Iceland (No studs!) and on the glare ice traction they worked very well -- but studs would have been better and made the 360 degree a one shot maneuver. This event is held every year by the Rocky Mt. BMW club. |
