Offline | Got my super cooper yesterday! Hi Everyone, I picked up my Indi Blue Cooper yesterday its a class act. Much better than I thought. The only thing was I was in Mcdonalds parking my Mini and hit the front of it into a Curb. This was a lound scrap sound. I sh*t myself thinking I smashed the front up. Luckly I just scraped the two low plastic bits underneath!. THe only problem I got now is I can't get it on my drive without catching the underneath. All the Best Welsh Mini Man ![]() |

Offline | Very nice. Any additions planned for the near future? Or are you happy with it fresh from the box? ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Got my Indi Blue on the same day! Hi Welsh Mini Man After over two months wait, I collected my Indi Blue Cooper on the 1st Feb too - so we were on the same production week! Done nearly 100 miles in 2 days. Handling is great! Haven't learnt to play with all the options yet. Accidently over-revved it today (5000/6000 rpm) - drop down from 5th into 2nd gear rather than 4th! I hope no damage done. Having read the threads on SS vs. SS+, I was a bit worried about the ride being too firm before I got delivery - Having driven it, I don't know what the fuss is about, the ride is not too firm at all. All the best, Hooker Indi Blue, Chili Pack, Visibility Pack, Air-con, Alarm, CD BOOST & prep, SS+, ASC+T, heated washers/mirrors |

| Let's Motor. | welshminiman, I did the same with my Mini Cooper S the first week I got it. Drove alittle to far and scraped the bottom on the curb. Since the bumper was replaced because of a later accident, it's nice and fresh. I try and avoid high curbed drive ways. My only advice for you is to try and go up on a bit of an angle. Best of luck! ![]() |

Offline | Yes I agree don't know what all the fuss is about sports suspension plus. Its a great ride much better than my old VTR. Also the little touches like the dimming lights are great. Not sure what to add next. What dealer toys are still available? Is there a list anywhere? Maybe the trip computer Upgrade the sound system PDA Can you get the heated mirrors/spray nozzles dealer fitted Welsh MiniMAn ![]() |

Offline | I asked the dealer about the PDA several weeks ago, but they didn't know much about it - I still don't know how much it'll cost, whether I could update the PDA in future, etc. Does anyone out there know? I have been adding and taking off options while I was waiting until my MINI went into production, so I got most of what I wanted - maybe except the MFSW - by the time I asked for it to be added, my MINI was already in production. I took off the CD Changer because of the lack of boot space. ![]() I'm still playing with the options I've got - the heated screen doesn't start until the engine starts, and since I'm supposed to drive off as soon as possible after ignition (as suggested in the manual) I'm not quite sure whether I should wait until the screen clears or drive off. I can't wait for the summer - less grit on the road for stone chips! and I can test out the air-con All the best, Hooker |
