| Re: just noticed reflectors on wheel arches Yes, it's a federal requirement. They also light up at night. Amber in the front, Red in the rear. They're one of these things that at first you say "Now, why did they do that?", but after you realize that they help visibility when pulling out of driveways at night (oncoming drivers can see you), they're actually a Good Thing to have.
