| MINI2 Newbie | At last, after 5 months of waiting my new Cooper S has arrived, complete with just about every option they could bolt onto it, apart from the HK Hifi which they couldn't order in time. Jet black, black leather seats, Chilli pack, sunroof, DSC, MF steering wheel, heated washer jets / mirrors, auto dim mirror, rain sensitive wipers, heated seats, park distance control, fully auto aircon, sat nav, 6 CD changer, probably some other stuff I've forgotten. Absobloominlutely marvellous. A very chuffed Woz |

| MINI2 Newbie | Cheers, I'll take some better pictures at the weekend and post them. As for the sat nav, well I've only used it once properly so far. On Saturday I had to head out to some place in the middle of nowhere. All I had was a town and a road name. The sat nav took to me to within 50 yards of my destination perfectly. Top stuff. It also make the dash look a lot nicer - I hate that big speedo :-) Woz |

Offline | Congratulations from me, too! I am amazed how good the JB/JB color combo looks. This spec is somehow an antithesis to my future car. I am glad with my choice though. But this color and styling variety is what makes the MINI world so interesting. I wish you always joyful and safe drives with your MCS! ![]() Klaus Don´t bother me with: Vans, SUVs and Grandpatronic |

Offline | Hey Woz, Is that Scothalls in Chandlers Ford, just down the road from the big ASDA store? Had my first every drive in a Mini there in Summer 2001, before moving to Germany and buying one over here. Hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying my S! They fansatic ain't they! Mini: Drive and feel alive. |

| MINI2 Newbie | Yep, it certainly is. I live in Southampton, about 5 miles from Scothalls. I'm loving it to bits at the moment. Still running it in though obviously. Talking of which, what was your running in period. Scothalls told me 1400 miles at 4500 rpm max. 4500rpm fine, but 1400 miles? Seems pretty high. Even my bike was only 1000 miles. Woz |
