Offline | Well, that's good for BMW I suppose, but bad for our cachet quotient. I thought the plan from BMW was for only 20,000 per year into the US. BRG/W MC -- Motoring since Oct 7 of 2002 |

| MINI2 Master | MINI Canada only sold 130 last month (total Cooper and Cooper S I believe), see http://www.canadiandriver.com/news/030205-1.htm This is down quite a bit. Last year they were selling more than 200 a month when sales were good. Perhaps the snow is keeping people away, especially with all the summer rubber on them. Oh well, nice having a rare car up here ![]() Harry MINI Cooper Cabrio: now the car with go cart handling really feels like an open go cart! Offline | They had updated that to about 25K as of the last check, but yeah, they seem a bit out of order, though I don't quite know how the trending goes, since logically there should be monthly differences. I think with dealers regularly having both models on their lots everywhere except the left coast now, it should die down a bit... In theory at least. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

Offline | Wow that's low.. does that only count the 2003 models you think? I thought the sales was strong.. maybe just in Western Canada, i.e. BC only I think most, if not all, 2002 models here in BC were sold so quickly due to the special discount they offered early this year. |

| MINI2 Master | I don't know how they account for the 2002's that were discounted. My local dealer had a whole bunch but they are all gone but for one demonstrator. Their supply is much lower overall though they have a bunch on the lot now, including several S's. Harry MINI Cooper Cabrio: now the car with go cart handling really feels like an open go cart!
