Offline | Re: How much could I expect? I was offered £12200 for my Cooper(Oct.2001)which cost £14750 new when I traded up to a Cooper S in November 2002 -I gave the dealer two fingers when I managed to sell it privately for £13500. Exactly the same spec. was on the forecourt for £14250 so they were making £2000 and my new Cooper S was £18000!!!' BTW - you won't regret the Cooper S - the difference is amazing, and although I loved my Cooper, I would never go back to it - get the 'S' if you can and start having supercharged adventures!! Good luck with the sale if you decide to go for it ![]() |

Offline | Thanks mate! It cost me £14,500 or somewhere there... I was hopeing my dealer would sort me a good deal.. they have a Cherished Cooper S in the showroom (no demo) with 3500 miles on it for around £15,500... I was hoping they would sort me a good deal as this would be the only way I would make the jump! Would it not having xenons prevent you from buying it??
