Hi All,
I'm new to this, so please go easy on me.
I recently took my car to a safari park, where a monkey was kind enough to relieve me of one of my heated windscreen washer jets. Just yanked it straight out without any trouble  - or a lot less than me anyway.
I've managed to source a new jet unit to sit on the bonnet, but I hadn't realised (stupidly) that the monkey had yanked the water line out too. This part I'm not having much luck finding. However, before I get stuck into the search I need to know exactly what I need. However, all the gubbins is hidden between the underside of the bonnet and the bonnet insulation/lining. When I squirt the washer, it is being dumped between these two and leaks when I lift the bonnet.
At the moment, I can't figure out how to remove the bonnet lining to see what's left and what parts I'm going to need to fix it. My bonnet lining has, what look like, plastic philips screws attaching it to the inside of the bonnet, but which ever way you screw them, they don't come out.
Am I missing something simple here? How can you remove these plastic *screws*? I obviously want to do it without damaging anything.
If I missed a previous post related to this, I apologise unreservedly. I couldn't find what I was looking for.
Gavin
