Cool 30-50 timing?

Anyone know the 30-50 time for the Cooper?

huh? as in movign acceleration? I always wanted to know but dont think anyone ever tested those... even if they did its like in the top gear and not tested at the most efficient gear.

I was asking as it gives a proper (real world) idea of how flexible/torquey the engine is (forget 0-60 timings) for overtaking.

The figure is usually calculated in 4th gear (not 5th/6th).

Any ideas?

>Performance

Power to weight ratio (DIN) (kg/kW): 12.4. CVT 12.7
Output per liter (kW/l): 53.2
Acceleration (manual only):
0-62mph (s): 9.2
0–1000 m (s): 30.8
In 4th/5th gear 50–75 mph (s): 10.5/14.4
Top speed (manual only): 125mph

... from this very site...LOL

Although I would say that due to the rather long gear ratios in the cooper if you wanted to get from 50-75 quickly you would be better off in third....no figures on that though

**EDIT*** Just re-read your post...LOL...sorry you wanted 30-50 times...Oh well...maybe that data will be of some use anyway.
