Getting a little tired of MINIs in the snow so I thought I'd send some from Hawaii. First one was taken on Christmas Day (my MINI was 4 days old) on Oahu's North Shore. Sorry I'm not a great photog, but I noticed later that it had the requisite postcard palm trees, blue Pacific, etc.

Second shot is from a couple of weeks ago on the campus of Windward Community College where our organization has a branch office. There is a nice road through the mountains in the background. I find myself driving to our branch office at the slightest excuse.

Just sharing...

...and this should be in the parking lot of Windward Community College in Kaneohe. There is a gorgeous road through the mountains in the background. I protested the building of that freeway because it runs right over sacred Hawaiian sites and connects two military outposts, Pearl Harbor (which used to be the fruit basket of the island, now off limits and poisoned) and Kaneohe Bay, also now a military installation. Just a couple of editorial comments in case you read something in the paper from far off Hawaii about Hawaiians being upset about something....

Anyway...

To bad it's not the only car in the shot. What was the temp in Hawaii today?

I've got to come to Hawaii some time it is so beautiful. Anywhere to rent a MINI in Hawaii? I'm sure there are some AMAZING MINI roads.
