What changes do you predict for the 2004/05 Mini range

I reckon they will;

Colour code the wheel arches
Mini badge enamel will change from black to green
New alloys
New engine
Up the Cooper S to 200BHP
New colours

I think.

Colour code - possible
Badge - Nah - why?
New alloys - probably more options at least
New engine - too early 06/07 for the new engine?
Cooper S up to 200HP - maybe but possibly change the name
New colours - likely - new colour coming in this year already.

Red/Black R56 Cooper Stripes, CHILLI, ASC+T, MINI HiFi, Piano Black Dash, Red Colour Line, Heated Mirrors/Jets, Spare Wheel, Smoker Pack!
Mods - Cooper S pedals, Cheqered interior mirror, chrome side repeaters

I have ordered a new '04 MCS for September '03 production. However, dealer could not tell what changes are expected for the following model year.

They'll integrate more electronic systems from other BMW's into it. Who knows, maybe we'll have an I-Drive MINI....

I really hope not. The last thing the MINI needs is the absurd complexity and cost of the infamous i-drive system.

Let the rich old farts play with artificial driving methods in their BMW 7 series, while the rest of us enjoy the true down to earth driving experience that the MINI is all about.

My guess would be lacquered silver trim on the interior. And maybe a new wheel set.
