Offline | Dropped my car off at the dealer this morning and had a look at the 03 plates all lined up ready and waiting. A very nice indy blue cooper works was there (although still not totally convinced by the Scottish Flag as it looks a slightly different colour). Only problem was they were filthy. I would have been a bit upset if I'd gone to look at my new car and it was dusty and had been attacked by those pesky seagulls Oh well at least I'll mine clean tonight.![]() BRG Cooper, Chili, CD multi, ASC+T, Stripes |

Offline | Yep...03 MCS for me on Saturday...infact, I take delivery on Friday, and even get to drive it back from the dealers on their trade plates. Then I have to park it on my driveway and count the minutes 'til midnight. Probably spend most of the evening sitting in it making brrrrrm brrrrrm noises! Offline | nice thought Hat - I figure that if I break it in with a long run undercover of darkness, it'll be foot to the floor by daybreak and I'll just be a blue blur Gordon MCS EB/W, 17" S-spokes, half-leather, xenons, white knuckles |

Offline | hi matt_s Yes, Ocean Plymouth are supplying my Cooper S - interesting you ask how I find them...do you know something that I don't? As a matter of fact, I'm reserving judgement on them. I've heard a view dodgy things about the BMW side - a friend of mine was so fed up with their service dept that she takes her 3 series convertible an extra 30 miles to Ocean in Torbay. Last time I was at the showroom - waiting for their business manager (who was half an hour late for my appointment....hmmm!) - there was a guy going absolutely ballistic about recurrent problems with his new 5 series. All a bit worrying. That said, I'm presently so delighted that they are delivering the car to me a day early that I will forgive almost anything. Anyway, only time will tell...watch this space. Bad luck about the wait until April. If it makes you feel any better, I ordered my MCS on the 10 June 02 (I was their first test driver). With hindsight I should have tried a few other dealers with a better allocation against their local demand. Anyway, I guess the anticipation is half the fun. ![]() Gordon MCS EB/W, 17" S-spokes, half-leather, xenons, white knuckles |

Offline | hi dartmoor I was only wondering because I haven't heard anything about them in the good/bad dealers section. I think I am probably just worrying in the wait ![]() The service I had from them was great, they all were more than happy to help - I know it's their job but they seemed more down to earth than other car dealers I went to before testing the mini ![]() Plus I have the record of the most to get off them on (which isn't that much!) If they are crappy I am now living in Cheltenham so have Cotswold MINI which have had both very good and very poor comments about them! Have fun with your new mini and don't forget to post some pics! ![]() |
