Offline | Dealer Service I have recently picked up my new mini cooper and the level of service i received was awful. My Mini arrived seven weeks after my original order, but due to a holiday, i couldn't pick the car up for another two weeks. So I paid the dealer the money and arranged to pick it up 10:30 on the monday after i return from holiday. So I set off from my home at 10am and as I was about to enter the dealers premises, i got a phone call to tell me the car hadn't been cleaned and can I come back in an hour. To kill time I went for a browse around town, then received another phone call to tell me that two options i added after the original order because they were added to late - i added them sevens weeks prior to proposed delivery date. The dealer has since added the additional options, but i just feel the level service received was diabolical. And to add even more insult, they had ran out of mini keyrings and tax holders as well! Does anybody else have any service horror stories? |

Read my dealer day mess-up here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15777&highlight=torture +continues This is ontop of the hassle I had trying to get my money from my bank. They dawdled over clearing a bankers draft I received for the sale of my Cooper telling me it's impossible to clear in a couple of days over the phone and then when I actually did go to the branch they said they could clear it in a 24hrs Oh yeah I almost forgot.... On the morning I went to pick up my car I had to go to the bank and pick up the bankers draft, so come 9am I was down at the bank only to find out that they open at 10am on Wednesdays It's all behind me know though ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. Offline | We ordered ours last week of Jan and were given a date of mid march Not bad we thought as we had heard that there was a 3 month waiting list. Went to another dealer and were told we can get a march 1st delivery but the part ex value on current car was not good so we went to the 1st dealer and placed order. Added a few more extras and now find that delivery will be on April 7th.. Very very disappointed as is meant to be for the Mrs. Since joing the forum here I am adicted and each day seems worst then the last. Lets see what happens nearer the time... I hope now that you have yours FINALLY Tommy you have great fun. All the best and will keep all posted with my Saga.. still wouldn't mind ordering the S soon though Roll on ![]() Does my @rse look big in this broom broom |
