Lightbulb Nice work

VERY handy information to have! Kudos to you for a job well done. Now where the heck did you snag that television from?

That's cool! It won't fit in most larger American 4 door sedans. They have to pop it out of the box and slide it into the back seat.

I think MINI says a 36" will fit. But I surely doubt in box.

Nice going!

That's cool. I think there should be a database of large things that fit in a MINI. I'm always wary in IKEA of buying things and then trying to fit them in.

For example, the "Artist" shelving unit (I think it's a UK only item) does fit in a MINI. You need to put it diagonally across the car so that the two side parts poke through to the front passenger seat and you'll need to put something at the front to protect your dashboard, as there's about an inch to spare!

We should ask for pics taken of minis with the most crap packed in them.

Every time I go to Ikea I always have a crowd watching me load the car. I have yet to leave something behind. The car being a hatchback and having a flat roof certainly helps to maximize what you can carry.

A friend of mine can get his 4 piece Drum kit (bass drum, rack tom, floor tom & snare in soft cases) 'traps' case (stands & hardware) and cymbals in his cooper S (both front seats useable).
I'm waiting for my cooper to see if i can get an electric piano across the back seats (folded)...

IT'S HERE...
Cooper PS/B, chili, a/c, ASC&T, CD boost, Trip Comp, MFSW, SS+, 5 spoke 16" run-flats... and a full tank of petrol
