Well, for a cop car, it's nice. A MINI would make a great chase car!

Looks like Mirabel, NW of Montréal. Got stopped by cops there once. Had backed my car into a driveway to fasten the exhaust. Except that it was a snowmobile track, and the car sank up to its belly.

Quite embarrassing for this anglo.

uhm, and where would you put someone that gets arrested.. just seat them next to you?

California Highway Patrol has a MINI black and white, but I think it is mostly for show. Someone posted some pics of a German MINI police car a while back. I think a Cooper would be an outstanding pursuit car because of the handling and performance. I would not want to use one for prisoner transport though. CHP has used cars in the past for pursuit that are not suited for transport though, Camaros and Mustangs. They just call another unit if they need to take someone in.
