United-Kingdom Have you received from MINI can you talk yourself out of a jam leaflet.!!!

Just wondering how many have received the latest promotion to come from MINI UK.

CAN YOU TALK YOURSELF OUT OF A JAM?

YOUR MINI CAN.

The products the leaflet is promoting are:-

MINI guiding star {satellite navigation}

MINI box office {DVD ENTERTAINMENT}

MINI Jambuster {Traffic master}

I quite like the MINI jambuster.

Got it and went strict into the bin - nbg to me as I do not (well, not supposed to ) do business miles in Apple.

If I am driving at my own leisure and hit a jam, I just crawl along until I can get off at the next junction, then I shall rely on my iPaq/GPS Nav to guide me.

Cost is another issue, can't justify it

yes the discount would probably come to less the 5% after fitting ... pretty sad really.

For anyone that's interested, the three pages of the brochure are available here:

- http://www.blakeburn.info/1.jpg
- http://www.blakeburn.info/2.jpg
- http://www.blakeburn.info/3.jpg

I'd be really interested in pricing. Especially for the "Visorvision".

DVD Movies

I see some of you guys are interested in the DVD Movie setup for the MINI! well I looked at this and at £2100 its rather sharp. So I considered other options & chose a portable system. Basically this is what it consists of:

5 1/2"" screen which hooks on the back of the head rest via a cool stap system.

DVD player which is neatly consealed in a rucksack so can be easilly stored on back seat or under seats.

Full Power thru Cigarette lighter.

Head phones - but I find the screen speakers are great

remote controls.

The only wires you have showing is the AV connector to the screem (which can be hidden down the side of the seat) and the power link to the lighter socket.

The good thing about this system is that you can unhook it in under 20 secs and use in another car, attach to home tv etc.

Also has facility to add PS2 to it as well and play MP3 and CDs.

Before anyone asks - no I am not there salesman... But for £430 its a bargain. And my kid loves it.

goto www.microvison.co.uk for further info: The setup i just described is the MV2

I got mine and decided to get the Jam Buster fitted. Slight problem though. My dealer can get the Jam Buster kit, but no manual or fitting kit. What is the point of advertising a product if you can't supply the bits to fit it.

I need it to get out of cornwall. There seems to be alot more traffic problems east of the Tamar. I tend to get lost a lot and the Sat Nav appears to guide me to traffic jams.
