Offline | Took delivery of my S on Friday, and loving it , but didn't get the MINI key ring with it. (The cable loop with the MINI logo attached to it)I have called the dealer who informed me that this was a cost option but that as a special favour he would send one out to me. Is this right? I thought this was standard, or am I being fobbed off with an excuse to cover up an oversight? |

Offline | It should be standard. If u mean the chrome oval with dealer logo and mini rescue number on the back and orange plastic bit, (that always falls out, glue it in !!!) We have a cooper s and also we had one with the 1st cooper bought back in March 2002. If its not this, then i've been fobbed off too !! Topsy Cooper S Checkmate |

Offline | It's not standard equipment, I have one of these they are good key rings and only cost a fiver so I say get it any way or there will always be that little voice in the back of your head going "buy the key ring, buy the key ring you know you want to" ![]() SOLD |

Offline | Mine was given to me as a present from my dealer, together with a MINI umbrella when I collected Apple ![]() The standard keyring is the oblong metal one that has a couple of important numbers edged onto it, with a removable colour wedge. DK :apple: |

Offline | One of these! I meant one of these - it seems some Dealers do, and some don't. Thanks for the feedback - for a fiver they are much better than the 'standard' issue ones |

Offline | Don't not twist the wire once it is closed as it is proned to break - probably due to bad sodering job or whatever. I pushed mine back with a bit of superglue and it worked fine! ![]() DK :apple: |

Offline | Got one too! I was ready to ask for one but was pleasantly surprised to find I didn't need to... but then I didn't have the nerve to ask for the a model (besides I don't think they had one in my particular colour combo - red/white )Steve "There are 50 ways to love your lever" Chili Red Cooper with white bits, Chili Pack, SS+, Brilliant Silver/Tartan Red Half Leather, CD+Boost, Visibility Pack, Heated Mirrors/Washers |

Offline | I specified mine amongst a bunch of MINI goodies that I wanted - the dealer told me to thumb through the catalogue and pick out pretty much whatever I wanted - (I'm probably their most loyal customer). The standard issue key ring looks nice but is not very practical. 260909 ![]() |

Offline | The one with the coloured segment that is. It was in my carry-on bag, and on the X-Ray it must have looked like a blade or something... They pulled the bag, asked permission to seach it, then pulled out the MINI keyring. They handled it as it it might go off any minute... Until they saw what it was....then they just smiled and I was on my way I upgraded to the loop keyring shortly afterwards, and no more customs worries : Chris. Offline | Er, the MINI also looks nice, but doesn't score too highly in the practicality stakes. Steve "There are 50 ways to love your lever" Chili Red Cooper with white bits, Chili Pack, SS+, Brilliant Silver/Tartan Red Half Leather, CD+Boost, Visibility Pack, Heated Mirrors/Washers |
