MINI2

Hello everyone,
Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I am thinking about getting a Mini Cooper with the Premium Package and the Sports Package.

I've read every now and then about the "Chili" package and I just thought folks were talking about the color of their Mini (Chili Red).

But I just read a note where someone suggested NOT getting the Sports Package and just getting the Chili Package instead, which also has the Sports Seats.

Is there some other package (Chili) that I do not know about?

Please help this confused newbie out!

Hi and welcome.......don't worry about the Chilli pack......its available in the UK & Europe only, not available in the US.

Your Sport and Premium Packs are offered instead in the States !

I thought the Chilli pack was only available in the UK? (along with the Salt & Pepper packs)

The Chili pack contains (at least it does on my cooper):
- floormats
- height adjustable passenger seat
- storage spaces on seatbacks
- interior lighting package
- interior in silver
- radio/cassette wave
- 16 inch 5 spokes
- sportsuspension plus
- sports seats
- half cloth / half leather seats
- roof spoiler
- leather steeringwheel

We get it here in Ireland too anyway......

I guess the chilli pack is the same as the sport package in Canada and the US. I got heated front sport seats, fog lights, 16" Star alloys, roof spoiler as a package. My silver interior was standard as was the leather steering wheel. Got floor mats but they are a bit crappy, probably would have got them anyway.
