Talking The new baby...

Well, what to say...how about "a picture is worth a thousand words!"

White wheels and everything...picked up Tuesday night from LB Mini. Excellent treatment by the financing folks, great pre-departure tour of the features, and extra special thanks to Alli for taking care of the wheel issue.

I have had a perpetual grin since picking her up, but it's still so surreal.

Anyway, here's her baby picture:

Looks wonderful! Same colours as I've ordered. I'm convinced the black with white roof's the best combo.

It looks good, but BRG/W is the best colour I think!

But I don't pick mine up until 17th, this waiting is killing me!

Yeah, BRG/W does look nice. I feel it doesn't look quite right unless you get the bonnet stripes though.

Also, I saw an IB/W MCS on the 405 South last night near Huntington Beach, with whom I exchanged waves and thumbs-ups...was that any of you Mini2ers?

Nice folks at Long Beach Mini. I got mine there was well. Enjoy!

Hey did you look under the hood to make sure they removed the clear plastic piece that covers the MINI logo on the engine. If they forgot, it will melt eventually. Cheers!

Thanks, Spy Car! Nice folks there indeed.

Thank you for mentioning the plastic cover over the MINI logo on the engine. I thought it looked funny, but wasn't sure what was going on. I'll go out and remove it at lunch. I also just noticed a dead pixel in my nav screen...bummer. I'll take it in this afternoon and have a new one ordered. Besides that, I love this car!!
