| Only Unbalanced | We're officially a 2 MINI family now The link shows some of the pics from our trip to Westchester (big trip, all the way from Rockland!) to pick up Jen's MINI. We had a blast, and again the people at Westchester treated us very well. Coffee flowed freely, smiles everywhere, Lori's MINI in the showroom. We had fun. Now, the name...First Gear was Jen's idea. She just could NOT get the standstill to first gear rolling thing going. We stalled. We lurched. We bucked. We smiled, a lot. Look at some of the pics towards the bottom of the page of her driving her own car, with manual tranny, for the first time. They are precious. We hope you enjoy the pics. Offline | Hey that is really cool, you both look so happy, and that is what the mini is all about. The car looks very nice, i have just ordered my new Cooper(dont get it until June !!), and it was between Red and Black, but in the end i went with the Red, as i havent had a red car before. But i have to say the Black looks very nice. What spec did you get?? |

| Only Unbalanced | This one is Joe-Basic. I sprung for (besides the car...) Xenons. I don't think I'd get a car without them now. My Cooper S has Xenons, driving lights, rally lights, sun roof, heated seats and probably a few more things I forgot about. I was severly tempted with Red, both times. In the end, the 'speeding ticket' aspect talked me out of it. That's probably for the best, especially for my car, since 75mph is real easy in the S. Not that Liquid Yellow is a blend-in-the-background color though. |
