Offline | smashed side window from seatbelt?? Hi, Does anyone else experience this:- one taking off the seat belt either drivers or front passenger, if you let it go while unclipping it goes back at such a force that it nearly smashes the side window. Has anyone ever cracked or broke their side window as a result. WelshMiniMan Up the Welsh Mini drivers |

Offline | Move the adjustment on the belt so the clip will rest lower than the window. This will decrease the chance of the clip hitting the window. retroom 2003 MC,LY/W, sport package, wht wheels, cruise, chrome, Kaleido cloth/black, OB computer |

Offline | no just when a passenger gets in the car. They always seem to smash the seatbelt hard against the window. It hasn't just wondering if other people get the same issue and if the window has ever cracked |

Offline | I haven't cracked the window but I have marked the door lining by letting the seatbelt fly when releasing it. Dean MCS CR/W with bonnet stripes, DSC, full leather, MPSW, alarm. trip computer, X-Lites Superduperminicooperexpertengineering |

Offline | Safelite glass replaced it, took about two days. They actually had the glass in stock. The installer was a real nice guy, it was the first MINI he had worked on. He was asking me all about the car, apparently his wife wants to get one. Now I have one pane of PPG glass in the MINI. Mark 2002 MCS LY/B |

Offline | I never miss a chance to sell MINI. But the car does such a good job of selling itself. It's funny because several months ago the first question people would ask me was "is it fast?", but because of gas prices the first thing they ask me is "what kinda gas mileage do you get?".
