Picking up my BRG/W soon - need to finalise order with dealer.

I like the bonnet stripes - and I also like the idea of Viper/racer stipes and a chequred roof - oh and I like the idea of a JCW/Hartge/Birds conversion

But

a) want to wait 6 months before fitting JCW / Hartge etc.

b) Bonnet stripes look better than a plain bonnet ( to me anyway )

Soooo

My plan is;

1 ) Order a MCS BRG/W with white bonnet stripes

THEN

2 ) in 6/ 12 months time add covenrsion kit at the same time strip off standard BMW bonnet stripes and go for Viper/Checquer/Racer/ stipes - thus effectivly getting a brand new born again car,


Questions;

a) Good plan do you think?
b) Are the BMW stripes easy to get off for the relaunch?

Opinions / ideas / critisisms please!!! Any help gratefully received.

We got ours with the bonnet stripes coz a cooper ain't a cooper without them after all!!!
Don't have the problem of the conversion though (ain't got an 'S')

We are getting roof checks soon also.
