Auto Express have published a survey today of over 25,000 readers rating cars against various criteria such as handling, performance, reliability etc. Although the Mini only came mid-table overall(41/100), in 2 key areas - Stering & Handling - it came 2nd to the Porche boxter, a car that costs more than double the price of an 'S'.

Aren't we the lucky ones!

You should check out the April 2003 issue of CAR: In ranking the 100 best cars in the world, the Cooper S came in second only to the Porsche 911 Turbo (6x the price) and beat out the likes of the Pagani Zonda C12S (21x the price), Ferrari 360 Modena (7x the price), 575 Maranello (11x the price) and Mercedes SL55 AMG (6x the price). The Cooper came in 23rd and even the Mini One came in at number 40. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Oops. Sorry for my ripost, too much sensitivity on my part. My wife would find that very hard to believe.

well to take it back off topic I would agree with Igor in that the language is probably the offensive bit.

However, I would also say that to have such a large political signature appearing outside of OT and B is not a good idea.
