Offline | 20,000 Miles! Well, Brooksie turned over 20,000 on the clock today on the way to work! Since picking her up in June, I don't think I've ever had as much fun with a car. I kicked some rice-rocket's a** gettin' on the cloverleaf to the freeway this morning, and I still get a big smile doin' that! CVT is an amazing way to drive - I love it. The weather was in the high 70's-low 80's, the sun was out, all the windows were down, sunroof open, I had on my shades & MINI hat, "Take the 'A' Train" was playing loud....whatta beautiful SoCal day to blow past the 20M mark! Offline | My age is closely guarded secret, but I have impeccable taste, I assure you! I wasn't sure if I wanted "String of Pearls" or "..'A' Train", but I thought about the Dead Milkmen, or Morrisey, or the Sundays, or maybe the Fugs, , or the Mothers...it was a Zappa kinda day, somewhat. ( wait..Capt. Beefheart! - dang, too late now. )I don't have the Duke rendition, but a snappin' swing tune seemed called for. Cool Breezin'..............BCNU, Rob in Dago |
