Well im 21 and my S is coming in june. Think i must be one of the youngest with an S then....tho that doesnt include all you Americans! Seems insurance isnt realy an issue in your country, 16/17 driving an S! the insurance would be more than the car in England! Im curious, how much insurance do u pay in the U.S?

Im 17 just let my cooper go for an "S" , insurance is a suprising £1600! obvioubsly not my own policy but very good all the same imo.

How does a 17 year old afford all those mods listed in your sig? I'm 17 and I was barely able to afford a few options over the base Cooper S.

Is it in America where you can get your license when you are 16? We can't even get out learner's licencse over here at 16...

we hyave to wait till we are 16 1/2 and they are thinking of making it 17!!

What insurance company are you using - that seems a little steep.

I have only just turned 22 and on my ONE insurance (inc additional spots + alloys) I am only paying 480 with elephant fully comp etc. Have been driving four what almost 4yrs(?) and this is my first policy.

this thread is quite funny to read

i have 2 mini ones, one blue one black, but i have to chose one to sell back to the dealer, also i have the mini s cabrio on order for 2004, so do not worry girls the offer to go for a drive is still avalible, i would hate to dissapoint all those pretty mini girl drivers....

for long journey's i use a merc Cl 600 2002 but on weekends and when the weather is soo nice as it is theses days in north london i use a m3 cabriolet 2003.
And abroad that is another story, but one thing the insurance is much better priced than here in the uk.

i am 19 but will be 20 in May.
