Smile Golf Clubs

Has anybody managed to get a set of golf clubs in the back of a MINI without folding the rear seats?

Yesterday I looked at the trunk, and I don't see any way to accomplish this. I would be interested to see if anyone has actually done this.

I've carried mine many times but never without folding the seats forward. Even then if I run them straight I have to pull the driver out of the bag also. You might want to wrap the heads/hozels with a towel if you're traveling great distance over marginal roads, as the rattle developed by my forged heads was enough to make a nun swear!

P.S. I'm not a nun, so I held my tongue.

Is this an April Fool's joke? Even with the seats folded, a golf bag just barely fits diagonally across the entire car and hits the back of the front seat.

Two adult golfers and two sets of clubs, no problem.

I play golf every week and fit my clubs in no problem by just dropping one rear seat. I can also leave the parcel shelf in place. Don't have to remove my standard length Taylor Made R320 driver from the bag either.

I have a light carry bag, not one of those enormous cart bags so don't know if that type would fit easily.
