That install looks good. I cant believe how the price varies across the country. Rockblocker in Seattle installs the full kit $300-350. They seem be the cheapest, but still are offering the same protection as stongard or xpel.

I feel sorry for the guys in No Cal. The installers are charging to much it looks like.

So it was a good deal! Oh I also said that i wanted to have the door edges X-Peled cuz when parked in the garage its really easy to bang the door against my dads car so they threw that in for free...

Can you post more picture (close up) on all the parts the you have installed? Thanks

Their labor rates are a little cheaper than the other Bay Area MINI dealers.

Their clear bra installs are done by Clear Armor Inc.

Wow, I cant believe that. Tell you what if you guys can get a group buy of say ten people I will fly down and do the cars for you guys or you can meet me in LA the first week of May.

The cost $325.00 per car installed. You wont find a better price than that down there I am sure.

U can but its pretty difficult... its hard to get it all lined up and get all the bubbles out. I tried a small piece myself and it was crooked and had some bubbles in it.

Ruacop2

So what will be the total cost to have it install? Labor + the clear bra.

I've already made arrangements with an installer in my area who charges $600 but will include more than the standard kit.

Included:

Standard kit: Front bumper, fender in front of wheel wells, front of bonnet, side mirrors.

Also: covers for all lights (headlights, fog, side), front edge of roof, trailing door edges, door handle cups, rear bumper.

And he will come to my house and do the install in my garage when I get the car.

The dealer was going to charge me $600 just for the standard kit. Sure I could get out of it cheaper by doing it myself but I doubt I would do as good a job as someone with years of experience.

Dinlo,

The cheapeast I can do it for is $182.00 for the kit and $125.00 for the install. Make it $300 even.

BTW, The only thing real hard about installing it yourself is the hood and if its dark like black.

I will be in LA in May if you want to get the car done.
