On board computer

I know it may be on here but I can't find it. I have a friend that just got a mini and we need to know how to change the temp on the on board computer from C to F?

it should come set to F in usa? anyhoo, to switch press and hold the ac on/off switch for a couple seconds.

I think you've confused the a/c temp with the temp on the tach.

Good question, MINIMAN7. I was wondering the same thing. I don't have either the automatic A/C or the trip computer in our '02 Cooper CVT, yet we do have the exterior temprature readout (Set in Farenheit) and the LCD odometer calibrated in Miles.

I guess that if you don't have either gizmo, you can't switch from English/Metric systems unless it is done at the dealer via their computer interface.

mine are linked, when i switch they both switch... as for the manual, i can't help you there, sorry, i gots the auto.
