Should be apart of your memory options. If you want it, ask your dealer to program it. I have it on my car and it is a Feb 02 build date.

By the way, there is also a new option called "Auto Unlocking" which unlocks the doors when you turn of the engine. I'm not sure how far back it is available.

I have the automatic locking and unlocking memory option. Just simply ask your dealer about it like tip said. It should be free of charge.

I have an 03 cooper, they lock at 11mph (i think) and unlock when you turn off the ignition. You can also unlock either door before turning the ignition off by pulling the door handle twice, flipping the lock switch on the lower console up will unlock all doors and the boot. I should think that all of these items are programable by your dealer

What do I ask for MiniMan, Is it actually called "auotmatic unlocking"?

Ummm, I really wouldn't know, my dealer just told me he was going to program everything possible. I guess you should just ask him about the automatic unlocking when the engine is turned off and see what he says. Best of luck!
