| Loud and Proud | Wednesday night (f*cking nightmare) We all have bad days, but this really does take the biscuit: It's the easter holidays for schools at the moment, and I've been on holiday for about three weeks now (haha!!!) but all last week I was at school doing an intensive revision course - 9am to 9pm with a 2 hour break. It was tuff to say the least. Obviously as you can understand on the last night everyone was quite happy and we all planned to go to a local nightclub and have a wicked night out. Three cars were used to transport everyone ten minutes away to the club, a 306, a Mini Cooper and my Mini One. The Cooper is owned by one of my best mates, James. Not one car made it to the nightclub....... The 306 was written off on a roundabout on route to the club. The 306 was traveling around the roundabout at between 40 and 50mph (fast, but it's quite a big roundabout) when another car driven by a woman with a male passanger came onto the roundabout without stopping, and my friend in the 306 went straight into the side of it. The other car fliped in the air and landed in it's side about 10 foot away. Only the female was hurt and she was taken to hospital. Both cars were write offs. At the same time my friend James was getting into his Mini which ws parked next to mine directly outside the main gate of our college. As he was doing so he was approached by about six local guys who for some reason don't like anyone who goes to Wellington (our college). My friend James was elbowed in the head and he smashed his head on the roof of his car. The local guys then tried to beat the living sh*t out of James, who eventually managed to get in his car and lock the doors (bearing in mind his door was open and his keys in the car when he was attacked). One of the locals then took a running jump at the car and caved in the drivers door, while about four guys were hitting the car with baseball bats and large sticks, and trying to do as much damage as possible. James reversed out of his parking space and his drivers sidewing mirror was smashed off, and he then drove up the drive to get away from the guys behind him. One guy was infront of the car and as James accelerated away threw himself onto the bonnet, completly smashing the windscreen in the process. Needless to say James is extreamly shaken up, and is having to pay several thousands of pounds to repair his car. The local guys then went about the college attacking people and property alike, until the police arrived and they dispursed. Many cars were damaged, including my own, as someone has kicked the front side of my door, and apart from a big footmark there is no bodywork damage, but the door no longer sits flush with the bodywork. James managed to get a reg number and vehicle description of a car the local 'pricks' were using, and a ten year sentence for violence disorder awaits if they are caught. Sorry to bring this apon you, but I feel I have a duty to tell you. Have a good easter weekend. ![]() 2001 MINI One, Chilli Red, 130 BHP, Big Grin! ![]() 2003 MINI Cooper S, Chilli Red, 163BHP, Even Bigger Grin! |

| MINI2 Senior | Talk about a nightmare! Accidents happen (the 306 incident) but petty grudges are just ridiculous. For some people to do that, I would've thought there'd be more of a reason than just "inter-school grudge"... I can't believe this kind of thing happens. Those guys must've been on SOMETHING, and something STRONG to do that I'd imagine. Hope they're caught, and get more than just 10 years. Throw the book at them. Jug |

Offline | Obviously awlful. I hope the Judge owns a MINI so they really get what they deserve. I'm thinking 10 years, paying for the repair and a requirement that they drive nothing but Yugo's for the rest of their lives. |
