| flat towing a mini Can anyone out there give a mechanical/technical reason for NOT towing a 2003 mini S with the 6 speed manual Getrag transmission? Of course, I'm talking about towing with all 4 wheels on the ground.  |

| I don't know the reason, but supposedly flat towing is NOT recommended per MINIUSA and will void the warranty. Perhaps it has to do with damage caused by lack of gearbox lubrication? Here's a recent discussion on this.
