We had a "mini" Mini Meet, just 4 Minis, but we had a great time.
3 of us met up in the morning for a Fun Run with some of the other car show participants. We motored to Cumberland Falls, about 30 miles away (in the rain the whole way). Afterwards we went back to my house and took turns washing our Minis. Right on cue the sun came out when we started washing, and it stayed nice all day.
We had a lst minute arrival, a really fun couple from CA who bought their Mini in Florida and are taking Rt 66 home.

The 4 of us, a BRG/W
MCS, an IB
MC, two DS
MCS (one with aero kit) motored into the car show where we spent several hours fielding questions from fascinated show goers (Do they make it in a four door, and is it made by Chevy were my favorites). MiniYoda is a born salesman, and did most of the work for us all day, answering all the questions.
I learned a new trick - I didn't know that if I press and hold the wings on my key that the windows and sunroof would open.

The car show had a good turn out, with 682 cars.
We had a lot of fun, and our California friends won the prize for furthest distance traveled, and received a free night at the Holiday Inn (which they used that night), free dinners at Cracker Barrel (where we ate after the show) and a custom crafted clock made from a timing belt

.
I loved driving around with Minis behind and in front of me, it was the first time I got to see what a Mini looks like driving, and it was great!
Can't wait to do another one, we'll probably plan one for September.
